TrailFest is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Cumberland Valley Rail-to-Trails Council. It takes a large number of volunteers to make it sucessful. We need people to man the registration tables, man the water stops for the races, setup and tear down and many other jobs.
Cumberland Valley TrailFestThis year's Cumberland Valley TrailFest will have some changes because of the Covid-19 restrictions. We will not be holding the BrewFest, Ramble and 1-mile kids run. The 10k & 5k race and the 25 mile bike ride will be held with a limited field size and in conjunction with Ship First Fridays. Ship First Fridays will include food trucks, beer garden and live music. The music is free, beer, wine and food is available for purchase. All events will be held at the Shippensburg Station located at the corner of Fort and Earl Streets in Shippensburg.

Unfortunately the BrewFest hosted by the Shippensburg Historical Society (SHS) will not be held this year. The TrailFest races will instead be held in conjunction with Ship First Fridays. We’ll be balancing socialization with social distancing so we can all have a great time while feeling safe. Ship First Fridays will have food trucks, a beer garden and live music from 4pm to 9pm
When you come out to support our local businesses, we ask that you practice social distancing. Tables and vendors will be spread out and attendees will be required to wear a protective mask if near others except when eating or drinking.
