Enjoy a leisurely non-competitive ride along the entire length of the finished Cumberland Valley Rail Trail. This will be an out and back 25 mile bike ride from the Shippensburg Station past the trailhead in Newville to the trail end at Greenhill Road and back to the Shippensburg Station. Rest stops will be available along the way with a snack in Newville. The Shippensburg Historical Society (SHS) is proud to present its 3rd BrewFest. The event will include craft brews and spirits from local breweries and distilleries, food trucks, and live music from 11:30AM - 5PM! Entry to the BrewFest to enjoy the music is free to everyone. Registration for the Race, Run, Ride, or Ramble gets you a discounted BrewFest wristband to enjoy the craft brews and spirits from local breweries and distilleries. Proceeds from the BrewFest event will benefit the Shippensburg Historical Society and will be used to the continued the work of the SHS in collecting, preserving, and sharing the history of the Shippensburg area.

25 Mile out and back rail trail course.
The course travels out and back on the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail from from the Shippensburg Station past the trailhead in Newville to the trail end at Greenhill Road and back to the Shippensburg Station. The course is entirely on the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail. The Rail Trail runs thru beautiful farmland and is mostly a smooth, crushed stone surface with 1 mile of pavement at the start and finish and 1/2 mile of pavement at the turnaround.

Guaranteed t-shirt deadline April 15Everyone registered by April 15 for the Race, Run, Ride or Ramble will receive either a cotton t-shirt or a tech shirt upgrade. After April 8 tech shirts will not be available to order. Extra cotton t-shirts will be available as first come first served until they are gone.

Online registration is open and will close on Friday April 26 at 10:00 PM.
Race day registration and bib pickup will begin at 9:30 AM at the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail, 51 E Fort St, Shippensburg, PA. Registration closes 15 minutes before the event starts, please be considerate of others and register on time.Bike riders will start as a group at 10:30 am in order to minimize conflicts with other events on the trail that day. Please do not start early.
Water will be available in Oakville (6.2 miles & 13.8 miles) and in Newville.
Restrooms will be available at the start, in the Shippensburg Township Park, in Oakville (1/4 mile off of the trail at the North Newton Township Park) and at the Trailhead Newville.ParkingThere are several parking lots available within short walking distance to TrailFest. Refer to the PDF Parking Map or Google MapsBike ParkingWe are asking if you registered for the Bike Ride please park in the lot at Queen Street and Richard Avenue. From the entrance to the parking turn towards Shippensburg University - 200 yards - Left on the Rail-Trail to registration. Total distance approx. 1/2 mile.
From the north use I-81 exit 29, turn right onto Walnut Bottom Rd. Left onto King Street (US 11). Turn right onto North Queen Street at Sheetz. 1/3 mile to the parking lot on the right.
From the south use I-81 exit 24, turn left onto Olde Scotland Rd. Left onto Fayette Street. Right onto King Street (US 11). Turn left onto North Queen Street at Sheetz. 1/3 mile to the parking lot on the right.

CVRTC is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable corporation dedicated to conservation, historic preservation, recreation and alternative transportation in the Cumberland Valley of Pennsylvania through the development of multi-use trails along former railroad corridors and other areas. CVRTC owns and maintains the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail that runs 13 miles from Shippensburg to noth west of Newville and is working on extending the trail to Carlisle and south of Shippensburg.
