We invite you to participate as a Sponsor of the Cumberland Valley Rails-to-Trails Council's Water Wheel 5k.
Your sponsorship helps to defray the costs of organizing the event. Sponsorship funds are used to purchase race timing, T-shirts, awards, drinks, snacks for the participants while giving you exposure to a vibrant community of outdoor enthusiasts.
All proceeds from the Water Wheel 5k will benefit the Cumberland Valley Rail-to-Trails Council (CVRTC) and used for maintaining the current trail along with extending the trail beyond Shippensburg and into Carlisle and maintaining the Cumberland Valley Railroad Museum.
CVRTC is an all-volunteer organization 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable corporation with the interest of the health and wellness of the community in mind. CVRTC depends on local membership dues, fund raisers and contributions to pay for the maintenance of the trail. CVRTC depends on volunteers to provide all the labor for trail maintenance and to staff this event.
PerksYour logo will appear on the Water Wheel web page with a link to your website. Your logo will also appear on the official t-shirt if you sponsored for $100 or more.
You will be receiving a discount code for two free entries into the 5k for each $250 of sponsorship. All free registrations must be entered online at https://CVRaceSeries.us/WaterWheel
All sponsors are welcome to a 10x10 area at the event to advertise your organization. (you must bring your own table and tent)

Registration |
Online registration is open and will close on Friday May 16 at 8:00 PM.
Race day registration and bib pickup will begin at 8:30 AM at the Shippensburg Township Park, 304 Britton Rd., Shippensburg, PA. Registration closes 15 minutes before the event starts, please be considerate of others and register on time.

From the north use I-81 exit 29, turn right onto Walnut Bottom Rd. Left onto King Street (US 11). Turn right onto North Queen Street at Sheetz then right onto Britton Road; approximately 1/2 mile to the park.
From the south use I-81 exit 24, turn left onto Olde Scotland Rd. Left onto Fayette Street. Right onto King Street (US 11). Turn left onto North Queen Street at Sheetz then right onto Britton Road; approximately 1/2 mile to the park.

CVRTC is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable corporation dedicated to conservation, historic preservation, recreation and alternative transportation in the Cumberland Valley of Pennsylvania through the development of multi-use trails along former railroad corridors and other areas. CVRTC owns and maintains the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail that runs 13 miles from Shippensburg to noth west of Newville and is working on extending the trail to Carlisle and south of Shippensburg.
