 Sponsor Opportunities
We invite you to participate as a Sponsor of the Shippensburg Turkey Trot.
Your sponsorship helps to defray the costs of organizing the event. Sponsorship funds are used to purchase race timing, T-shirts, awards, drinks, and snacks for the participants while giving you exposure to a vibrant community of outdoor enthusiasts.
All proceeds from the Shippensburg Turkey Trot will benefit the Cumberland Valley Rail-to-Trails Council (CVRTC) and the Shippensburg Produce Outreach (SPO)
CVRTC is an all-volunteer organization 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable corporation with the interest of the health and wellness of the community in mind. CVRTC depends on local membership dues, fund raisers and contributions to pay for the maintenance of the trail. CVRTC depends on volunteers to provide all the labor for trail maintenance and to staff this event.
SPO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization and has grown to serve over 1500 families per month with our drive-in distribution program in addition to site deliveries to nearly 80 other residents. Our mission is to continue to meet the needs of the Shippensburg community as the cost of fresh produce continues to rise.

From US 11 on the south side of Shippensburg, turn onto Park Place at the traffic light in front of the Treat. Bear to the right at the football stadium. Registration is at large pavilion behind the stadium and the playground.

This event is hosted by the Cumberland Valley Rails-to-Trails Council with proceeds benefiting the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail & Shippensburg Produce Outreach.
 CVRTC is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable corporation dedicated to conservation, historic preservation, recreation and alternative transportation in the Cumberland Valley of Pennsylvania through the development of multi-use trails along former railroad corridors and other areas. CVRTC owns and maintains the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail that runs 13 miles from Shippensburg to noth west of Newville and is working on extending the trail to Carlisle and south of Shippensburg.
Shippensburg Produce Outreach (SPO) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization and has grown to serve over 1500 families per month with our drive-in distribution program in addition to site deliveries to nearly 80 other residents. Our mission is to continue to meet the needs of the Shippensburg community as the cost of fresh produce continues to rise. We have developed partnerships with local agencies such as the Central PA Food Bank, Aldi of Shippensburg, Walmart, Weis, Giant, SU Farm, the Gleaning Project of South-Central PA and area farmers so that we can accept donations of excess harvest, glean fields after harvest and purchase additional produce as needed.
