We are thrilled to announce the first Run to Rise SAAPM 5k run and walk. This event will take place on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the Army Heritage Center in Carlisle.
Join us as we come together as a community for Sexual Assault Awareness & Prevention Month. The event is hosted jointly by the PA National Guard and US Army War College - all funds raised will directly benefit the Carlisle & Cumberland County YWCA and PCAR - PA Coalition to Advance Respect. Both organizations who provide support & resources to sexual violence survivors in our community.
The event's activities include a 5k run/walk, 1-mile walk, community resource tables, food trucks, Susquehanna Service Dogs, PA National Guard rock climbing wall, and more. Fun for all ages and dog friendly to support the importance of healing together - not alone.
