This event is hosted by and proceeds benefit the Drew Michael Taylor Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
After a tragic traffic accident in the Outer Banks, NC, on June 13, 2006, claimed the life of our son, Drew Michael Taylor, we decided to create a foundation in his name. Through the Drew Michael Taylor Foundation, we will honor Drew's memory by making a positive difference in the lives of children and youth. Drew was a beautiful 3-1/2 year old boy. He loved to wrestle and play sports with his daddy, read and cook with his mommy and play with and hug his sister. He is greatly missed.
The Drew Michael Taylor Foundation provides educational and recreational opportunities for children by funding established organizations and existing programs in need of financial assistance while looking to create new opportunities to enhance a child's mind, body and soul. We will accomplish this through the development of programs and activities designed to maximize a child's potential, giving particular attention to the needs of socio-economically disadvantaged youth.
The Drew Michael Taylor Foundation is a public non-profit organization qualified under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations to the Drew Michael Taylor Foundation are tax deductible.
